Day 2: Friday, February 10, 2012
Lord Jesus, You send me, also. In Baptism and Confirmation you drew me into Discipleship and you send me to all those people my life touches.
-Who do I carry in my heart as I enter this holy pilgrimage?
-For each of them, what grace to ask the Lord, Jesus?
Today's Gospel is a wonderful preparation for our Pilgrimage. It is the story of the deaf man brought to Jesus begging for Jesus to lay his hand on him. The man had great faith that Jesus’ simple touch could heal him.
Don't we all want to hear?
To hear as Jesus hears….
the people who touch my life…
the situations past…. present situations …. things coming up ….
Lord as we walk this pilgrimage with You, may we each hear You.
Jesus, give us such faith that in all things we may hear you….
that we may always follow You up the road of life.
We pray the Sorrowful Mysteries:
- The Agony in the Garden
- The Scourging at the Pillar
- The Crowning with Thorns
- The Carrying of the Cross
- The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus
